The Walk the Doc Festival, held at Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur (19 Nov – 21 Nov), is an international film festival initiated by Walkabout Asia that brings together documentary filmmakers, environmentalist, travelers and content creators who recognize the importance and impact of our environment to our future world development. The Sustainable Tourism Malaysia team will be hosting a networking session to bring together tourism operators from our network and content creators that are eager to telling new meaningful stories. We are looking for motivated talents that can shine a light on the wealth of nature and culture that Malaysia has to offer, through the lens of sustainable tourism, which, in our books, abides by 3 simple rules; improve local livelihoods, build connections between people and nature, and promote care for people, place and culture.
