Heritage, Performance, People \u2013 A Living Legacy in Taiping\u00a0<\/p>

From 12\u201314 September 2025<\/b>, Sustainable Tourism Malaysia joins hands with community partners for Legasi<\/b>, a special three-day celebration of heritage, music, and performance in the historic town of Taiping.\u00a0<\/p>

Audiences can look forward to a rich, immersive experience\u2014featuring the soulful notes of the seruling, the rhythmic strumming of the sape, the elegance of the hornbill dance, and powerful vocal performances that celebrate the spirit of the rainforest.\u00a0<\/p>

Each venue\u2014Maxwell Basecamp<\/b>, Taiping Public Library\u00a0<\/b>and more\u2014adds its own unique character to the performances, deepening the connection between people, place, and story.\u00a0<\/p>

We\u2019re proud to support this inaugural programme that puts community, culture, and creative expression at its heart. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue celebrating Malaysia\u2019s living heritage, one performance at a time.\u00a0<\/p>
